Always A Start
- Monday, August 30, 2010 -

No reason. Just a sudden urge to start a blog that's all. Maybe I'll ditch this idea down the road but we'll see where this goes. Multiply isn't my favourite place to blog for whatever reasons.

So, last day of holidays. I can't decide how much I'm looking forward to school starting tomorrow but I'm quite relaxed about it. I have THE AWESOMEST TIMETABLE ever. My mom says my life is so slack. I would agree. Here goes:

Mondays: NO SCHOOL (No Monday blues for sure)
Tuesday: 3 30pm - 5pm (SOC 304)
Wednesday: 8 30am - 10am (SOC 332)
Thursday: 1 15pm - 2 15pm (UGC 111)
3 30pm - 5pm (SOC 3O4)
Friday: 9am - 11am (NTR 109)
12pm - 1 30pm (SOC 332)
3 30pm - 5pm (UGC 111)

The only sad part is that Fridays are PACKED. Not the ideal way to end a week but I get Mondays off so I shall not complain about it. I especially love Wednesday. Home after 10am! There will be tuition but whatever, 10am and school's out! How cool is that. Psyched!:D I guess I'm looking forward to school afterall(:

So last night, I decided to be productive and draw up a list of to-dos for today. And I can proudly say I did most of what I wrote down. Like gym, read, QT, timetable, etc. Seems like the only time I actually gym is when I write it down as a to do item on my list. Maybe being able to cancel it out is some form of achievement. Heh. I ran 2km. so sue me. Time with God today was oh so amazing! I've come to realise that for too many Saturdays already, I've been saying the same "I'm sorry for not spending enough time with You this week God" prayers. And to start this week off, I decided to set aside time for God. It was great and as I read through Ecclesiastes 3:13, 22, I was greatly encouraged by Him. "That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God." and "So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot." What God showed me today was that I ought to find joy and satisfaction in the things I do because it is what He has given to me. As such, my goal for the upcoming semester is to enjoy what I do and to pray for that gift of finding satisfaction in all that I will do. It was such a great encouragement for me, to know that He bothers to sprinkle little encouragements in my life. The day continues and I enjoyed the cool weather so much:D It really made my day. Grey clouds, strong wind, brothers' company, etc. It was a good way to end my holidays.

hey you, it's been awfully quiet recently.
