Nicole. 21. Loves God, family and friends. Ready to chill out with anyone. Tries not to hold grudges. Has the funniest brothers in town and loves them to bits. Tries to enjoy every moment. Probably not the best at technological stuffs so kudos to Justin who helped me out with this(:
Thank God it's Friday and weekends are finally here! I must say, the week went by pretty quickly and for that, I'm really thankful. But today was just so very draining. It's only week 1. I dare not imagine what I'll be in for for the next 12 weeks:/ It was school at 9am with the first two lectures being relatively light and fun. But the last lecture at 3 30pm on World Civilisation totally killed my brain. 3 hours in a cold lecture hall, about ancient civilisations like China and Egypt, not to mention a terribly itchy nose coupled with a cold, was just bad. And bad is probably an understatement. I've no idea how I managed to survive. And now, I'm still managing one sneeze every 10mins or so. Annoying. Hopefully a good night's rest would do the trick or I will have to find a replacement usher I/C for tomorrow's ushering team, which will prove to be a challenge since it's so last minute. Help.
Anyhow, today was a relatively good day, cold aside. Reading world civilisations before the lecture proved to be very challenging as we awaited the 3 hours of talking and taking notes. Initial plan was to meet bosom buddy Grace for a studying session after my lecture but she couldn't make it. With nothing to look forward to, it just made the day so bleah. Thought of Jon Tan and decided to text him and see if he had any dinner plans. None. Good. Arranged to meet for dinner since I haven't had a proper conversation or a meet up with him for a while already. That made the last lecture a tad more bearable since I knew there was something to do tonight. Lecture ended at 6 30pm and I was glad to be out of that place to just unwind for the day. Decided to head home to drop off my stuff before heading out for dinner since Jon wasn't quite done at work.
Dinner at Woodlands was great. Great company and food at Ashton's Express. Cheap and of good quality. Slacked about, played a few rounds of Reversi and what not, talked and did quite a bit of catching up. Hehe. Free data plan for a month! Thank youu(: Headed off around 10 40pm since we were both tired and I wasn't feeling good. It felt good to spend Friday night like that. I'd be happy and contented if I could spend all my Friday nights meeting up with friends just to chill and hang out. No textbooks, no notes, no homework. Just pure quality time with my friends(: Sounds like a plan.
My eyes are closing and my brain isn't making much sense. This post probably has quite a few contradictions but that doesn't bother me. I'm not here to make perfect posts(: I should head to bed and hope the cold subsides. Please no fever tomorrow. WEEKENDS!
