If things work out alright, I would definitely be looking forward to December. For now, it'll just be a whole lot of prayer and preparations.
So many arguments about what should be right and at the same time trying to justify one's stand. It's natural to gravitate to a certain stand based on one's life experience and beliefs but I still maintain the fact that we should be more concerned about our personal growth and not so much about the outer appearance. We talk so much about our dressing, posture, wealth, attitudes and what not but I really feel that we should be more concern about our walk with God rather than what we wear to church. Yes, I do know your intentions about it and I respect it but I could dress my best for God on Saturdays and Sundays but not even bother to acknowledge Him during the week. I don't really see an issue with casual dressing. Then again, you're welcome to refute me. But I wonder, what did Jesus wear when He came before God in prayer during the wee hours of the day? I'm sure He was more focussed on the condition of His heart above anything else.
